Gujarat’s tourism policy for sustainable growth
Gujarat’s Tourism Policy 2021–25 is designed to position the state as a top global destination. The government is ready to offer various incentives and exemptions in a strategic manner so to foster an ecosystem that supports investment, sustainability and inclusive growth. With a special focus on High Priority Tourism Centres, this policy offers attractive incentives for hotels, adventure tourism, MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences & Exhibitions) and cultural experiences. The overall idea is to make the interested businesses thrive and let the tourists explore around the wonders of Gujarat.
Here’s how your tourism investment can benefit under the policy:
- Get 20% Capital Subsidy on eligible investment for hotels & resorts
- Avail 15% Subsidy for theme parks & amusement parks
- 15% Subsidy on Adventure & Experience Tourism
- 15% capital support for big convention centres
- Reimbursement of upto 50% on green & sustainable tourism
